This is the first denomination introduced in a new series based on the elements of "Saka style" reflecting the heritage of the country. The remainder of the series, from 500 to 20,000 tenge, will be released between 2024 and 2025.
This is the first note in the world to feature Giesecke+Devrient's RollingStar Patch. This is an OVI patch that combines ColourShift (color changes when viewed at different angles), and RollingStar micromirror effects, which add 3D-like images and dynamic effects that appear to move—or appear and disappear—as the note is moved.

During the printing process on many modern notes, a dimple is created where the security thread is on the edge of the note (sometimes called a counting tick), when the notes are run through high speed counters. This does not disqualify the note as UNC.Shipping
